John 10:28-30

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish.

No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me,

And he is more powerful than anyone else.

No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.

The Father and I are one.”

As of yesterday, we began the forty-day season of Easter.  Yes, I said forty days of Easter.  Easter is not just one day.  Easter Sunday is "Resurrection Day!"  This event changed everything that we believe as Christians and became the source and proof of the "Good News."  Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we could have eternal life.  Many Christians grasp this fact and embrace it.  What seems to elude Christians is what happens the day after the resurrection.  It should not be business as usual for all of us.  For the next thirty-nine days, Jesus will be doing, in our lives, the same thing He did on that first Monday after Easter.  He will continue to reveal Himself to us in new and different ways.  One thing we can be sure of is that the Father and Son are one in the same.  Resurrection Sunday teaches us that!  No one can "snatch" us from the Father's hand when we claim Jesus.  No matter what trials and tribulations we go through, we can always claim the Easter promise and remain safe in the arms of God the Almighty.  Remember that Satan required God's permission to tempt Job.  While Job lost everything worldly, he never lost His faith and God never departed from him.  Claim the Easter promise and look for Jesus to reveal Himself in different ways in your life.  Good Friday teaches us the truth that Maureen McGovern sang about in the "Poseidon Adventure."  The words say, "There's got to be a morning after, if we can hold on through the night."  We did and now the revelations will abound.  Look for them. Don't miss them.  "God Has Given Us To Jesus!"
