Matthew 25:39-41

When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?

And the King will say,

"I tell you the truth,

When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,

You were doing it to me!"

Then the King will turn to those on the left and say,

"Away with you, you cursed ones,

Into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons."

We call it prejudice.  Jesus calls it sheep and goats. Whatever we call it, it is wrong.  The problem exists in churches, particularly here in the United States.  Part of our ministry at BYSM is to have fellowship and a free meal in the temple every night at 6 PM.  The reason for the meal is Acts 2 and Matthew 25.  Acts 2 says we should fellowship in the temple daily.  Matthew 25 tells us that we should feed those that might not have food.  By doing both of these, we are simply obedient to God.  We never know who or how many will show up, so we are prepared.  God has taught me much through this ministry.  One night a new homeless gentleman arrived in our fellowship.  On Fridays we have family night with dinner and a movie.  At the conclusion of the evening he said, "Everyone is so nice here. People are usually not nice to me.  I lost both of my parents in the last six months."  Most of us have become far too comfortable with our "Christian" lifestyles.  Let's be kind and loving to not just the people we know.  Let's be sheep in God's pasture.  Let's be obedient.  "Let's Do It To the Least of These for Jesus!"
