Zechariah 9:9

Rejoice, O people of Zion!  Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem!
Look, your king is coming to you.

He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—
 Riding on a donkey’s colt.

It is Palm Sunday.  We will all go to church and wave palm branches and read the account of Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem in either Luke or John.  There is nothing wrong with these two gospels and their accounts of this story.  It would probably not be Palm Sunday without them.  I simply wanted to leave you with a very important thought today.  Zechariah prophesied this coming of Jesus somewhere around 510 B.C.  That was over 500 years before the gospels were written!  I want you to ponder this thought as you wonder about the agreement, completeness, and accuracy of Scripture.  God is amazing to give us such insight into His perfection.  Take a break from waving your palm branches and appreciate the completeness of God's Holy Word, and if you ever have or did, don't doubt God again!
